Barryl is a highly experienced Indonesian lawyer with a strong focus on corporate commercial work, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, and foreign direct investment. Over the years, he has advised a wide range of local and multinational clients across various industries on complex cross-border transactions and regulatory matters. His broader practice encompasses project finance, insurance, mining, telecommunications, and restructuring. Barryl has been recognised for his expertise, including being named a leading lawyer in banking by Asialaw Profiles (2011) and one of Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal in 2019 and 2020.
Before joining Roosdiono & Partners as a partner, Barryl was a partner at Kandar & Partners from 2013. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at Soemadipradja & Taher, and had spent five years in-house at the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in Jakarta as a Senior Legal and Compliance Officer.
